Thanks to all who commented, expecially Tina. It appears that some of the facts of this particular accident are starting to surface. If this information is correct then there could be a claim for Negligence against the Truck Driver and Company.

today its been a month i lost my daddy 6 years ago i lost my only chiled and daddy is all i had im 46 now i have no man in my life that i can call when i need somthing if you look at the pic youll see he was way over the line my 3 sisters and moma had lost every thing in the world thanks tina

i drive a tractor trailer daily also. if you would ride in a big truck for a week you would know what causes most of the tracor trailer accidents. you will see very quickly its speeding cars and pickup trucks most of the time. they get away witout a scratch most of the time.

I think that before you go and judge the semi operator,by saying,"It appears that this accident was caused by a Professional Driver who was inattentive to a motorist pulled to the side of the road." you may want to get all the facts and look at the pictures taken at the scene. The driver parked, mostly on the shoulder, was still out in the lane of traffic. I don't know if you have ever seen what happens when a semi operator turns on a turn signal, but being an operator myself, I have. Most of thew time, the cars in the left lane, speed up to keep us from getting in front of them, trapping us into an unsafe situation, in which we have to TRY to figure a way out of in a split second! I think that before you add more laws to the trucking community, you should get the Police to start writing citations to the drivers who won't yield the right-of-way to a turn signal.

Hey counselor, how about you get your facts straight you MORON!! They were NOT in a car, they were IN a crosswalk with a green light in their favor, holding Mrs. Waldington's hands, just legally walking across the street minding their business on a beautiful summers day. And along comes this piece of human filth & garbage who ran a red light and MOWED them down, while trying to flee from the police. The mother had to watch as the police laid a sheet over her dead 5 year while her mangled body was still in the street. Nice memory, huh. I hope the little black bastard gets anally raped in prison on a daily basis. He will be there a long time. Of course, leave it to scum defense attorneys to try to get him off scot-free.

My husband and I were the first people at the scene of this accident and just want the families of these women to know that we have been praying for them ever since we saw the accident occur. We stayed with Sylvia and Juanita until help could arrive and are so thankful they are doing well! Our deepest sympathy goes out to Ruth's family and friends! God Bless every one of them!
