Connie Blount and 2006 Case Prompt Governor to Sign New Kentucky Hit and Run Bill

A couple of Kentucky Hit and Run Wrongful Death Cases have led to the signing of a new law.  Governor Steve Beshear signed the new bill making Leaving the Scene of an Accident a Felony punishable by up to 5 years in Prison. 

Two cases have shed much light recently on this former law where Kentucky was one of only three states that did not have this Felony Law.  Click on the link above to read more on these two cases.
