Chris Powers, 26, and Kevin Alshouse, also 26 were riding their bicycles when they were struck by a Kentucky State Trooper.

Powers was pronounced dead at the scene by Laurel County coroner, Doug Bowling, while Alshouse was treated for minor injuries. A five-year Kentucky State Police veteran, Christopher W. Roberts also suffered some minor injuries.
