The Auto Accident that took the life of Everett Ray Walker, on March 18, has landed a Murray Police Officer Cooper in a difficult legal and professional position.

Cooper was responding to an emergency call when an auto accident occurred. Officers say that Coopers emergency signals were on at the time, but he has been indicted by a Grand Jury for Reckless Driving.

Ray Walker, who was driving the other car in the accident, later died at Murray-Calloway County Hospital due to his injuries. Cooper was treated for minor injuries and suspended with pay by Murray Police Chief, Ken Claud.
