Western Kentucky Doctor Dies in Kentucky Motorcycle Accident

Dr. Jack Diles of Symsonia Kentucky was killed over the weekend in a Kentucky Motorcycle Accident. Diles was riding his motorcycle on Reidland Road in Paducah when he was hit by an SUV. Diles was thrown from his motorcycle.

Published reports say that Tammy Estrada from Savannah Georgia was changing lanes when she ran into the Motorcycle driven by Doctor Diles. Out deepest sympathies are extended to the family of Doctor Diles.

Semi Tractor Trailer Truck Drivers Urged to Stay Away From Chantix

Operators of Semi Tractor Trailer Trucks as well as those that fly Planes and Air Traffic Controllers have been banned from using the prescription drug Chantix.

The Federal Aviation Administration joined the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration in banning the use of the prescription drug that helps break the habit of smoking.

The nonprofit group concludes, "We have immediate safety concerns about the use of varenicline (Chantix) among persons operating aircraft, trains, buses and other vehicles, or in other settings where a lapse in alertness or motor control could lead to massive, serious injury. Other examples include persons operating nuclear power reactors, high-rise construction cranes or life-sustaining medical devices. Based on reports of sudden loss of consciousness, seizures, muscle spasms, vision disturbances, hallucinations, paranoia and psychosis, we believe varenicline may not be safe to use in these settings."

Crittenden County Kentucky Tractor Trailer Truck Accident Injures One

There was an Accident in Crittenden County Kentucky on Thursday that left a young man injured. He was thrown from his car when he was hit by a Semi Tractor Trailer Truck. The truck happened to be a Tanker Truck.

The Kentucky Accident happened around Fredonia and Mott City on US 641. Reports said that the Tanker may have been leaking fuel. There is no word on the young mans condition.

Bath County Kentucky Semi Tractor Trailer Truck Wreck on Interstate 64 Takes the Life of Kenneth Mckenzie

This tragic Kentucky Semi Tractor Trailer Wreck happend in Bath County early Tuesday Morning. Police were on the scene attmepting to clear up a first small wreck. Click on the link to get the video reports of this Kentucky Accident. The wreck took place on Interstate 64.

As the Police were clearing up the first wreck around 4:30 a.m., a Semi Truck rear ended a passnger car. The car was occupied by Kenneth McKenzie, 49, of Bath County. The impact of the crash flipped the Semi Truck on its side. The impact took the life of Kenneth McKenzie.

The whole crash scene was under fog at the time of the Multiple Vehicle Car Wrecks. The family of McKenzie will likely have Kentucky Wrongful Death Claim against the Driver and the Semi-Truck Company. However, the investigation is ongoing.

Semi Tractor Trailer Trucks are governed under Federal Regulations called the FMCSR or Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. It is unclear at this time whether the Semi Truck was in violation of these Regulations.

Today is The Twenty Year Anniversary of Kentucky Drunk Driving Accident

Today marks the 20 year anniversary of the Carrollton Bus Crash in Kentucky. This Accident was the Deadliest Drunk Driving Accident in Kentucky or the Nations History.

A pickup truck was going the wrong way on Interstate 71 when it collided with a Church Owned School Bus. The bus was bringing School Children home from a Field Trip.

Larry Mahoney who was the Defendant in this Kentucky Drunk Driving Accident served 9 and 1/2 years in prison for the injuries and deaths that he caused. He has refused all interviews.

The Fuel Tank on the Bus ruptured and caught fire. As a result there were 27 Wrongful Deaths from this wreck. That is the deadliest on record, even 20 years later.

Illinois Man Hit By a Train In Carbondale

A Carbondale Illinois Man has been hit by a Train today. The man was in a wheelchair and was attempting to cross Train Tracks.

WPSD TV in Paducah Kentucky is reporting that there were crossing bars but that they were on the other side and not the side where the man crossed the tracks.

Carbondale Illinois Authorities have not yet identified the mans name. However, he was rushed to a local hospital where he later died.

Western Kentucky Auto Accident Turns Deadly as SUV Rolls Over on Interstate 24

A Kentucky SUV Auto Accident turned deadly on Thursday in Western Kentucky. Ruth Choate of Princeton was killed when her SUV Rolled Over after leaving Intestate 24 near Cadiz.

Choate's Passengers Juanita Hollowell and Sylvia Hopper of Princeton were flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville Tennessee where they are listed in Stable Condition.

Choate was pronounced dead at the scene from Multiple Blunt Force Trauma Injuries. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Choate Family and our best wishes on a speedy recovery for Juanita Hollowell and Sylvia Hopper.

I appreciate all of the comments on my blog. Because of the negative feedback I am going to take down the article that we posted on a Auto Accident in Lexington Kentucky. We did not mean nor was it our intention to offend anyone.

Sometimes articles don't come out the way you had hoped. Sometimes we make mistakes and we try to admit it when we do. Our intentions are to touch all of those who have been affected by a tragedy and all of those who may be in the future. Our intention is to touch them in a postitive light.

It is my mission and that of Injuryboard to Prevent Accidents like this in the future by writing about them now and speaking for the victims. In many accidents the victims no longer have a voice. We write to be that voice.
