Girl Dead After Severe Staph Infection

McKenna Brooke Hatchett, a 14-year old from George Rogers Clark County High School, is dead after a severe Staph Infection.

She was hospitalized after she received a bruise on her hip in soccer practice early last week. Clark County School Superintendent, Ed Musgrove, sent home letters to parents about the cause of Mckenna’s death. All areas of the school that the girl came into contact with have been thoroughly disinfected and cleaned.
