What does it mean to be a Kentucky Personal Injury Attorney?

I get asked this question all the time. What is a Personal Injury Attorney and just what is a Personal Injury. I guess the answer is it can mean many different things. I have spoken with Attorneys from different parts of the country that feel this is an all encompassing term that covers many different practice areas. I have spoken to Attorneys that think that if only defines one certain practice area.

Therefore, in an effort to avoind stepping on any toes, I will define what it means to me and my practice.

A Kentucky Personal Injury Attorney is one that handles different categories of Personal Injury Claims. For me, I handle Auto Accidents, Semi-Truck Accidents, Medical Malpractice Cases, Hospital Negligence Cases, Birth Injury Cases, Products Liability Cases, Train, Plane and Bus Crashes. When someone is injured in one of the above type accidents, that is a Kentucky Personal Injury.

As a Personal Injury Attorney I handle the claims on behalf of the injured victim. At Daryl T. Dixon Law we try to ve the Voice of Personal Injury Victims in Kentucky. We negotiate settlements and we litigate these accident cases for our injured clients in order to maximize the amount of money they can recover to compensate them for their injuries.

I hope this article clears up some of the confusion as to what it is that we do. Please visit the rest of the Injuryboard.com site to study in depth the different types of Personal Injury Claims. As always, if you have a question, let us know and we would be happy to help.
