The family of Western Kentucky Student Allison Carter and the City of Bowling Green have setteled a Kentucky Fatality Case before it was to go to trial. 

The facts seem to suggest that there was fault on both of the parties but this settlement eliminates the need for a long and painful trial.  It also allows the family to get some answer that they deserver while being compensated for their loss. 

The settlement was reportedly for $1 Million.
