As some of you from around the country may or may not know we have had a record level of flooding in Western Kentucky over the past month or so. We have gone from drought last fall to flood stage.
This accident resulted in the death of a two year old from Crittenden County Kentucky. As you will see the rescue and hospital crews tried their very best but were unable to save this young life that ended too soon.

As an uncle, a girls basketball coach and as a Lawyer, this story has really touched me. There was almost nothing that could have been done to avoid this accident. My heart, soul and prayers go out the family of young Kate Hearod.
